Steps to install grid control agent to the new node in a cluster.
To copy binaries use following command form Grid home of existing server in cluster, i.e. $ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin:
./addNode.sh -silent 'CLUSTER_NEW_NODES={rac3}'
and it will finish like following:

Then you need to create a directory as 'fully qualified hostname' as a copy of any exsisting directory of the other server in the binaries on the
new node.
Under ORACLE_HOME of agent of new server execute the following:
oracle : rac3.rac.meditate.com : @AGENT : /u01/app/oracle/product/agent10g
$ cp -r rac1.rac.meditate.com rac3.rac.meditate.com

Now we will make a soft link for 'rac3' to point to this new directory under same please as:
oracle : rac3.rac.meditate.com : @AGENT : /u01/app/oracle/product/agent10g
$ ln -s rac3.rac.meditate.com rac3
and it looks like:
oracle : rac3.rac.meditate.com : @AGENT : /u01/app/oracle/product/agent10g
$ ls -lart grep rac3

Now we will need to modify two of the files:
targets.xml and emd.properties
Lets fist edit file targets.xml
Location of this file is:
/u01/app/oracle/product/agent10g/rac3/sysman/emd
and replace all occurences of rac1. with rac3. and
replace ASM1 with ASM3 and trim it to have just the cluster info and the ASM info as we don't have any other database here.
and now save it.

Now lets fix emd.properties file as:
/u01/app/oracle/product/agent10g/rac3/sysman/config
here replace all the occurrences of 'rac1' with 'rac3'
and save it.

Now start agent and check its status as:

$ emctl start agent
